Such an exciting week: I was a proud student of TU Vienna, attending the “2nd ACM Digital Humanism Summer School”.

Digital Humanism? Back in spring, I asked Sabine Seidler, Rector of TU Vienna and Member of the Advisory Board of ÖGV, what topic she would like to talk about during the ÖGV entrepreneurs lounge “Gin n’Tonic”. “Digital Humanism” was her reply. The personal interview I could held with her touched my personally. So Sabine became also a role model for me personally and we are happy to welcome her as Women in ICT Ambassador.

During the interview with Sabine, I realized that the interdisciplinary field of “Digital Humanism” covers what is now the most important and burning question. What role do we as society, as organisation, as entrepreneur, as individual play / want to play in the era of AI, how do we shape this future, how to ensure that measurements are democratic?

I also enjoyed the group project led by Irina. A multinational, multicultural group designing an AI solution to a “wicked question” - the joint development journey was cheer- and fruitful.
